Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak updates his own tweets late at night, much to the chagrin of his wife.
Answering questions in a meeting with Ghost Altantuya Shaariibuu
“My wife is angry with me as I look at my iPad to Ghost Altantuya Shaariibuu than look at her,” he quipped.
Najib was seen having a meal together with Altantuya in a photograph according to Mongolian witness Amy ( Burmaa Oyunchimeg). What did he say during the Ijok by-election? Didn’t he say that he has never met her? We are very proud of Karpal Singh because for his timely intervention. If not for him, we will be still in the dark about the rendezvous btween Najib and Altantuya. At the same time , we were very upset with Manoj and Tun Majid who deliberately avoided the probing. Both must be punished for this act.Najib must now explain what sort of relationship he has with Altantuya(a.k.s Amina). Both Shariibuu family and Malaysians have a right to know.

A Mongolian witness caused a stir in court today when she revealed that murdered Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu had been photographed having a meal with a Malaysian government official named Najib Razak.Burmaa Oyunchimeg (left), also known as Amy, told the Shah Alam High Court that Altantuya had shown her the photo in Hong Kong when she returned from a trip to France. It is believed that the government official in the photograph is Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, who has close ties with political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda. The latter has been charged with abetting the murder of Altantuya, 28.Najib has previously denied that he had personally met the murdered woman and that he heard of her only from newspaper reports after Altantuya was murdered. This morning, Burmaa, 26, had mentioned the photograph when re-examined by DPP Manoj Kurup.Manoj was asking whether she had personal knowledge of Altantuya’s disappearance.Burmaa began her answer conveyed by her translator Enkhjargal Tsetsgee that she knew Altantuya had come to see Razak who happens to be the only person she knows in Malaysia.
“I know why she wanted to see Razak Baginda, I have seen pictures of Altantuya with Razak and a government official,” she said.
However, Manoj quizzed her as to how she knew Altantuya disappeared and did not follow up with Burmaa’s sudden revelation.
About 20 minutes later, lawyer Karpal Singh, who is holding a watching brief for the deceased’s family, sought permission from the court to pose a question on the photograph.
‘They had the same name’
This drew protests from the prosecution and a verbal exchange ensued on the relevance of the question. However, judge Mohd Zaki Mohd Yasin granted Karpal permission.
The veteran lawyer then proceeded to ask Burmaa on what was depicted in the photograph.
“She (Altantuya) was having a meal at a round table with Razak (Baginda), a Malaysian government official and other people,” she replied.
Karpal then asked her on the identity of the government official, and she replied: “I remember the name Najib Razak, they had the same name, ‘Razak’. I thought they were brothers. I asked her (Altantuya) if they were brothers.”
This sparked off another exchange between the prosecution and Karpal before the judge dismissed Burmaa and directed the courtroom to stand down for 15 minutes.
The next witness was lance corporal Rohaniza Roslan, 29, who had testified that the red Proton Wira aeroback – which was seen by Razak’s private investigator P Balasubramaniam as the car that took Altantuya away on Oct 19 last year – belonged to her.
Examined by DPP Noorin Badaruddin, Rohaniza said she was off duty that night and was keeping Azilah company at the police headquarters in Bukit Aman.
She and Azilah were a couple at that time.
“Azilah had an assignment to escort the PM and DPM to Hong Kong but it was cancelled. So I was there to help him unpack his belongings,” she said.
Rohaniza elaborated that Azilah received a call and later followed him to Bukit Damansara. She said she saw an Indian man talking to a “Chinese woman”.
She told the court that she then moved to the back seat and the Chinese woman sat next to her.
‘Don’t create trouble’
According to Rohaniza, a man in a green cap then showed up, entered the car and Azilah drove them away before dropping the man off at a junction nearby.
“He got out of my car, went into a green (Suzuki) Vitara and Azilah tailed him to a highway towards the direction of Bukit Aman.
“It was then the Chinese woman asked us who we were and Azilah told her “police”,” the Petaling Jaya-based officer told Noorin.
She said Azilah told the Chinese woman not to create trouble at Razak’s house because he has a family at home and that she should find Razak at his office instead.
Rohaniza who was tearing when she was asked to point Azilah out as she revealed that she has known Azilah since 1998 when she joined the police force.
Two police officers – Azilah, 30, and corporal Sirul Azhar Umar, 35 – are charged with the murder of Altantuya. Razak, 47, is charged with abetting them.
Prosecutors allege that Abdul Razak and Altantuya met in 2004 and began a whirlwind affair, during which he gave her money.
After they broke up a year later, he allegedly continued to give her money whenever she demanded. But the payments stopped last year, prompting her to become dissatisfied and travel to Malaysia in October, the prosecution said.
Altantuya was killed by ‘probable blast-related’ injuries in a clearing in Shah Alam after she was driven away from outside Abdul Razak’s house in mid-October.
All three accused faced the death penalty.

Queen Control
the basic idea is to lock down your opponent’s spell and traps and bring out your allure queen with no resistance. Solidarity and shrink are there to protect her from battle if she can’t steal anything. also there to boost her attack. 2 my bodys and 2 defender to protect her from anything else because as long as she is equiped she can’t be destroyed by battle. use Magician’s Circle to search her out and Royal Magical Library for extra draw. She basically eats everything at lv 7 and your opponent can’t do much with their spells and traps gone.
Hello voters! Lemme introduce myself- my name is Rosmah. I am your new Prime Minister! Chillax, guys. That a joke. But seriously, it’s time you got to know who I am. The real me. Let’s not get into the surname at this point. I am 38 years old. Which means i am old enough to decide.
Old enough to know what i want in life (everything !) . Not because I am a spoilt brat. Not because I believe it’s my birthright. But because I am worth it! Well, are you ready to hear this? I want to be a politician. A top politician. Like the rest of my family. We start at the top, and stay there! Lucky, na? My family has been an amazing PM. My hubby was super amazing
The Mongolian connection
It is interesting how much shared destiny Rosmah and Najib has. To begin with, they both came into power on the wrong foot.
We all know about Najib's baggage - the murdered Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu and the alleged corruption surrounding exorbitant defence purchases.
While Rosmah's reputation took a blow when popular blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin claimed he was reliably informed that Rosmah was involved in Altantuya's murder … and to the extent that Rosmah was at the crime scene herself!
Sensational news has its pulling factor and we all love juicy, sexy stories. But I cannot imagine Rosmah at that secondary forest clearing in the middle of the night ordering special action police officers to shoot Altantuya in the head and blow her up with military grade C4 explosives based on sole consideration.
Why on earth would Rosmah want to get her hands dirty or worse, ruin her heels that would dig into the mud near a water catchment area?
She's an educated lady with some class. Just look her every day in the papers. She looks flawless in every picture. From programme launches to hospital visits, look at her perfectly fluffed hair, smooth complexion and those eyes. Such a cheeky, devilish glare she has!
An outspoken First Lady
Most recently, a series of videos have been making its round about Rosmah and how she has forsaken her family members and her kampung. The video carried interviews with her adopted brother, neighbours and family friends. They said rather unsavoury words about Rosmah from being ungrateful to being downright evil.
Rosmah could dignify all these allegations with a law suit or she can ignore it. She has denied RPK’s allegations and did not even lodge a police report. What did I tell you about class?
Perhaps Malaysians aren't ready for an outspoken, sharp shooting First Lady. The ones we previously had kept themselves in the background mostly, never upfront about what they thought about a political issue. That is after all, their husband's duty.
However, like Singapore's Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew said, Najib and Rosmah work as a team. If so, Rosmah's actions, thoughts and words should carry as much weight as her husband's.
This means the social cause of her choice will be given priority by the government. Her forte is on issues affecting children and this includes early childhood education, welfare and safety.
We should be thankful that she gives a damn about our children. Most politicians are too busy thinking about making money that they don't care how screwed up our education system is and even worse, how bad security has become for our children. Her desire to uplift the lives for children across the country is like Najib’s quest to resolve our economic woes. What more could we ask for?
Imagine this: in her capacity, she can tell Education Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin to focus on providing a better curriculum for our kids. She can even tell the Inspector General of Police Musa Hassan to buck up and ensure our schools are safe and make sure child-murder cases like Nurin Jazlin Jazimin’s does not ever happen again.
So much potential
Najib’s unity call for 1Malaysia surely must begin at home before being extended to the cabinet, the government, the civil service and to Malaysians in general. Therefore, she is not just a First Lady for Malays but a First Lady for all Malaysians regardless of race or creed.
I for one would love to see her embrace the 1Malaysia side of her. She would look absolutely radiant in a cheongsam or a saree when she attends the festive celebrations. She can be the first since I don’t recall any of our previous First Ladies ever doing so.
That would be a very bold move. It will capture the imagination of the entire nation to see Rosmah, an Umno member on all accounts, wearing a non-Malay cultural dress. It might not necessary translate to concrete reforms that Umno aspires to do but it is symbolic at least to prove Umno can reach out to non-Malays.
She does not even need to swear on the Quran for anything. In fact, she can thumb her nose at Umno haters and opposition supporters to show that 1Malaysia runs in her very blood. Najib will be so proud. I would be too.
With that said, Rosmah has so much potential and much freedom to make lives and futures of Malaysians better. All she needs is a little encouragement from the rest of us Malaysians.
Who knows if one day, comparisons are drawn between her and the late Lady Diana Spencer, famous for her grace and generosity? While Diana has been immortalised in song as ‘England’s Rose’, Rosmah can be remembered as an ever blooming flower.
There is already an orchid in Singapore named in her honour, after all.
