The no compelling reason forReal cool guy Najib’s decision to call it a day as Prime Minister is strategic. Foremost in the mind of Najib and UMNO leaders who have rallied behind him is the concern that PPBM may gain a strong footing among Malay voters. Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah, you will only become significant if you reveal specifics in what you saw as "shocking" in the 1MDB scandal while you were the second finance minister and were required to deal with the scandal involving your prime minister cum first finance minister, who is now more popularly known as the Malaysian Official 1 (MO1), as stated in the suit brought on by the US Department of Justice (DOJ).

He might not have participated in the alleged stealing of money from 1MDB, but he did abet in the crime by allegedly helping to cover it up.
We can recall that the most obvious was his pronouncement that the couple of billion US dollars that was allegedly stolen by Najib aka MO1 and his comrades-in-crime had not been lost but still in the possession of 1MDB in the form of ‘units’.
Husni had refused to explain what those units were, and which prompted me to write a piece wherein I named the units after him.
To my mind, he was in fact very much involved in the scandal and, therefore, is no less guilty than Najib and his associate, Jho Low, the alleged mastermind of the US$7 billion theft.
Husni, I think your high blood pressure, worrisome as it must be, is the least of your problems here.
You speak of the hypocrites and the corrupt lurking in Umno and yet you have not disassociated yourself from that vile party so ridden with crooks and thieves.
So what is all this Hindi movie dialogue about a sign from Allah? I would suggest that you do not wait for another divine hint before you decide to leave Umno itself; the next warning may render you in not much of a condition to entertain us with your tales.
It’s so sad, Husni, to hear you talking about your blood pressure rising at the height of all the questionable responses that were given by the government which you represented.
Yet, even at this stage, after having left the cabinet, you dare not call a spade a spade. That is the tragedy. So who did you really serve when you were part of the ruling machinery? Your answer is the reason why you are so sick.
Malaysia needed you at a time when you could have done something. You did not. You failed the country. Now you have no mandate.
All the cowering is the reason why the DOJ had to speak up to enlighten the rest of the world on the alleged biggest heist of the century.

Unless Husni reveals all that he knows soon - the rights and the wrongs in 1MDB and the government - he can never or just simply disassociate himself from the current pack of leaders.
He is acting like an ostrich burying its head in the sand. This is no longer spilling the beans or putting sand into people's rice bowls for him, it is about patriotism and saving the country's entire population.
It’s about truth, integrity and eventually, answering to Allah. After all, he has already been warned once by Allah.
