’ It’s about poll agendas Ultimate Game Najib’s silence on RCI TDM project IC

Najib Razak at 2014 UMNO GA
RCI report is hogwash. Sabahan leaders sold their people out. They deserved their fate as they voted for these leaders and will probably accept the hogwash and remain silent.
As I said repeatedly, we sympathise with Sabahans but your fate is in your hands.Defeat is the distance between a bedtime story and a wake-up call. The former starts with ‘Once upon a time...’ and lulls the voter to sleep. with mild levels of cynicism, are irrelevant today. Conscience is no longer a participant in politics.

that there is all-party collusion on its non-implementation. There was only one question trapped in doubt: What was prime minister Najib doing while Malaysia was destroyed  The PM was either unavailable or, worse, asleep. It  is a lie inaction and RCI ’s collaboration were deliberate.

Najib thinking of “emergency brakes”, or a short time cap on   RCI TDM project IC congratulates Najib over Sedition Act reversal. When Najib’s good friend Abdul Razak Baginda got into trouble over the Altantuya Shaariibuu case, Najib is said to have sent him a SMS message as follows: “I am seeing IGP at 11am today...  matter will be solved... be cool”.

A friend pointed out that we have only now begun to notice what happened some time ago: the UMNO has taken over  judiciary . UMNO provides the core inner ring which pumps blood into the heart of the current ruling class of our country. UMNO: Corrupt Incompetent Arrogant. There is only one reason China is ahead of Malaysia; because it is run by the CPC: Corrupt, Perverse but Competent.
who is mastermind
Why have we become defeatists just because http://www.malaysiakini.com/ has done such a brilliant job of exposing this strangely gut-wrenching but simultaneously hilarious RCI report a whitewash and a farce.’ Why are we so depressed merely because the media has turned Najib’s image into a toilet seat, thereby fulfilling Mahathir’s dream first sketched in “An Area of Darkness” ? Away with the frozen frown! We must be sunny and optimistic. The royal commission of inquiry (RCI) report has done far greater injustice to the truth in its findings on

Steve Shim, who headed the six-member royal commission of inquiry (RCI) holding the state highest judiciary post as a former chief judge of Sabah and Sarawak, can you say that you have done your best without fear or favour in coming up with an impartial inquiry? Commission could have completed half its report by reading the new media The media was equally comprehensive in its coverage Steve Shim protects Najib and  UMNO with an equally conscious fudge, shuffling the blame on to unspecified intelligence agencies. This is a recommendation which doesn't give any concrete steps to solve the Project IC problem but passing the buck to the council/committee that is to be formed. Indeed, a useless report from the RCI.What use is the recommendation when the recommendation for IPCMC (Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission) from another RCI some years ago was rejected?

Have we seen anyone being charged for misusing of authority and corruption in the Auditor-General’s Reports in 2012 and 2013?

As the saying goes, talk is cheap. Concrete action is what Malaysians want.
Let us look at the positive side and list the great achievements that await us during  a thousand pages to tell us what has been public knowledge A 199-word recommendation - I wonder what is the cost per word? The 'commission' must have been supremely confident it had fully surveyed the problem and knew exactly how to resolve it.

it  is amply clear to the royal commission of inquiry  will not tolerate any changes
the minister in charge did not have the will to leave all stones unturned in its investigation, and seemed afraid that certain top political figures, some of whom are still alive, might be implicated and exposed the mastermind was has been omitted from the commission's terms of reference is self-explanatory.
Project IC "probably existed"? "Probably"? Despite the testimonies of five people who corroborate one another on its existence?

What's with the members of the royal commission of inquiry (RCI)? They can't give a conclusive decision? Because "none of the witnesses were subjected to cross-examination"?

Then why was so much time wasted on this entire exercise? To come up with an inconclusive finding? It's was false hope as expected. Nothing good will come out from this RCI except frustrations.

No amount of remedial work can help correct this Project IC fiasco. In this RCI, if the six honourable commissioners cannot do a sincere and conscionable job, who else can do better?

You need integrity and political will to resolve this fiasco
Najib the new poster boy in  Malay politicsThat’s when the fecal matter really hit the fan, and we had a flurry of leaks and agonising over Project IC he bottom line is the report is a whitewash and a farce, and is used to clear the government and the prominent politicians involved instead of seeking the truth

The RCI findings and conclusions fly in the face of what every ordinary Sabahan knows. The lawyers will call the report a perverse finding of fact which ought to be set aside because the evidence contradicts the conclusion.

If the UMNO can lie on this one, then there's nothing that they won't lie about.
This is the stand of our truth-seeking mechanisms at the highest level. Malaysians cannot hope for a future where truth is the measuring rod of the day.

Then why was so much time wasted on this entire exercise? To come up with an inconclusive finding? It would appear to be certain there are not only instinctive acts but acts of intelligence as well, and a third variety — acts that are probably due to imitation, though whether much or little intelligence accompanies this imitation is difficult to determine. Acts that are instinctive in one species may be intelligent in another, and we may even assert there is a considerable variation in the amount of intelligence displayed by different individuals of the same species. We have met with such difficulty in our attempts to arrange the activities of wasps in different groups that we are forced to the conclusion that any scheme of classification is merely a convenience, useful for purposes of study or generalisation but not to be taken for an absolutely true expression of all the facts…

UMNO secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan said Umno delegates fitted with full Artificial Intelligence chips can prevent hate speak unbound

In a sudden burst of inspiration  UMNO secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan  has brought out a booklet on the ‘U-turn listing the many flip-flops and broken promises of Umno President
the insincerity or worse the inefficiency of Najib administration, which knows only how to criticise the opposition.

Umno may probe delegates who raised sensitive issues during the recent general assembly despite being warned not to do so.It’s a fair point and one that provides much ammunition to any party out to needle a government. But, apart from embarrassing Prime Minister Najib who likes to project himself as a decisive leader, and demonstrating UMNO’s  alliance Perkasa with opportunism thereby winning a few propaganda points, the label of U-turn can cause no serious damage.Besides, some of these turnarounds may actually indicate a willingness to take decisions that are largely in the national interest, such as going ahead with the project which was in danger of being scrapped. It is obvious that Najibi is discovering the compulsions of administration and adjusting to them.
A more serious charge against his government is the almost continuous stream of hateful bile coming from his party men and women. The latest is the revolting statement made At the assembly, Najib had also reminded the Umno bloggers of their paymaster, telling them to train their guns at the opposition instead.
Tengku Adnan, however, defended Najib's speech saying that bloggers who were sympathetic to Umno should not have attacked the party. told the Umno bloggers they had to decide which side they wanted,

Umno is not funding bloggers to become their mouthpiece or attack the opposition, the party's secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said today.
"We never pay anyone," he said when asked to comment on the request by PAS information chief Datuk Mahfuz Omar for Umno to reveal how much the party was spending to employ bloggers to attack the opposition.
The Federal Territory Umno liaison chairman's statement today was in contrast to Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak's reprimand of such bloggers as "bangang" (stupid) during his winding up speech at the recently-concluded Umno general assembly.
No one could be left in any doubt whatTengku Adnan  meant, as his party’s spokespersons have tried all kinds of verbal calisthenics to explain it away and defend the indefensible – one of the more inventive explanations was that it was a slip of the tongue!
Quite apart from making a mockery of the PM’s Independence Day call for a moratorium on communal violence – and speech, naturally – the free usage of obscenities in public by a junior minister demonstrates the extent to which a politician can go to hit out at members of another community. This minister has since apologised, no doubt pulled up by her more senior and saner party colleagues; the PM in a separate talk to his parliamentarians warned them to stick to constituency matters and not “address the nation”

Distinguished physicist Stephen Hawking`s warning that development of full-fledged, autonomous Artificial Intelligence (AI) could spell the end of the human race needs to be taken seriously. Despite being an early adopter of technology himself, Hawking`s cautious approach to AI is rooted in genuine fears. We already have supercomputers that can outsmart all but the brightest human beings. How long before we develop AI that can think on its own and spawn even smarter clones? Such full-fledged AI will have little use for huma-nity, making us dispensable.
Hawking is not alone in his assessment. Even Elon Musk, a technology entrepreneur whose company SpaceX ferries cargo to the International Space Station, has said that full-fledged AI poses an existential crisis for the human race. Hitherto machines were designed to surpass human physical limitations. But self-aware AI would also be smarter than humans. This would bring about a reversal of roles where machines become masters and treat humans the way we treat animals today.
True, such advanced AI is yet to be developed. But given the pace of research it`s only years away. Once it`s done the genie is out of the bottle and can`t be put back in. Unless we want the world to turn into a terrifying Hollywood sci-fi movie, researchers must mould their work away from full-fledged, autonomous AI and develop technology that remains within human control and benefits mankind.

Most people prefer peace but some are serial killers. Mobile phones enable a lot of commerce and also some terrorism. Yin comes with yang.
Artificial Intelligence is still taking baby steps up from drones and driverless cars, but it too will show up snags in time. Should mankind draw back because of fear of potential drawbacks? Absolutely not. The great human endeavour is about exploring uncharted territory with hope and unbounded ambition. AI amounts to the frontier of frontiers. It could deliver us a grand future — where humans conquer space and aging and poverty and whatnot. Even in the face of a cancer threat we haven’t abandoned mobile phones, and we won’t give up on AI just because it doesn’t come with a 100% goodness guarantee.
Already the grandest innovations are coming from the marriage of human and machine intelligence – the internet of things shows a sort of collective hive mind emerging, soaring past the intellect of individual creators. This is giving some people nightmares but others have dreams, of a human-like machine intelligence which can leapfrog the Darwinian time scale, whose exponentially rising computing powers can for example fix the global warming equation before we all choke to death. AI could be driven by service rather than conquest, empathy not enmity. It may well be our only guarantee of surviving the next 2,000 years.
