RCI Report on Project IC a bail-out story? Liers like Dirty Tengku Adnan are not born, but they’re made

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said today the findings of the Royal Commission set up in 2012 to investigate the abnormal spike in Sabah’s foreigner population was not only “farcical”, but had also failed to bring to book the real culprits behind the problem.
It was Adolf Hitler who coined the expression “Big Lie”, distinguishing it from the small lies. He used the Big Lie as a propaganda technique. As he said in Mein Kampf, “… in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods…” This is the principle adopted today by Federal Territories Minister's  propaganda machines when they furnish us with Big Lies on a regular basis with the help of mass media. However, the big lie is not something most of us would be familiar with in our daily lives. Sure, all of us would have indulged in some falsehood or the other sometime in life, but these are the small, everyday lies that either help us through a situation, or may have become a chronic habit!
Dreams and unfulfilled aspirations rooted in the past have that power. They keep you going. We all love to talk about what could have, but did not happen. Our regrets over unful filled dreams serve as a fuel to keep us going. The important thing is to remember the dreams. They connect our past to the present, and to a nebulous future. If you have fulfilled all dreams, met all aspirations, and have none other, what will hold you on to life?

Federal Territories Minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor  allow us to believe you! Please?

Small lies are not as innocuous as they may seem; they have the huge potential to undermine your credibility For it is these little lies and betrayals that make a big difference to one’s credibility, whether personal or professional. The bigger lies that have the potential of blowing up in your face could remain unknown and hidden forever, thus not really causing any harm. The smaller lies that you unthinkingly and carelessly blurt out, not just get caught all the time
As it is, social media sites haven’t left much to the imagination. This is an era that has ripped away the aura of mystique, where very few see the advantage of maintaining an enigmatic image. You do not need to wonder anymore what celebrities are doing, with their obsessive compulsion to tweet minute-to-minute ideas and thoughts; gosh, even details of their illnesses and fears!

Looking deep into Dirty Tengku Adnan  eyes, can be an uncomfortable experience because  he is notprepared for the truths revealed  eyes are the windows to the soul; they indicate the real you. Have you tried looking deep into your own eyes? Most people are scared of doing so, even as self-help gurus encourage us to do so. For, our eyes can sometimes reveal truths that we are not prepared to face. You could fool the whole world and even yourself into believing whatever your mind wants you to believe, but the accusing look, the hurt in your eyes will pull you up sharply. As beautifully put by a poet trying to explain the connection between eyes and the soul, “Eyes mirror our souls… actually they don’t. They have been carved out of our souls

The rules of political imagery and image-building are surprisingly stringent. Liers likeTengku Adnan are  not born, they’re made Creating a public image is not necessarily peddling a lie. essentially doing is conflating the notion of the self-styled representative of UMNO
his own trademark  of opulence of all sorts. So to Najib, one cannot afford to live without Malaysia’s Sedition Act

People of this country have moved on since

When queried on the Sabah RCI report Federal Territories Minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said that the government has revealed everything that was given them.
Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor has done a great job of deciphering US President Barack Obama's silence over Putrajaya's sedition blitz as tacit support for Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
"Now we know the truth – that Obama supports whatever action Datuk Seri Najib Razak is taking.
“All these stories (on the sedition blitz) are the doing of the opposition. It is their aim to make our country look bad abroad," the cabinet minister said today.US President Barack Obama said his decision to not meeting opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim during the former's trip to Kuala Lumpur does not indicate that the US is not concerned about the latter's situation. Utusan claimed that Najib had successful contained the Anwar treat. How come President Obama is commenting that he is concerned about the Anwar factor?Barack Obama, the US president, has said that he raised the issue of human rights with Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Razak during his visit to the country.
The Opposition Leader noted that the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) report released Wednesday (December 3) had placed the blame squarely on errant civil service runners for what he described as the “biggest illegal immigrant scandal” in Malaysian history since Independence.
Anwar said the report, which was 366 pages long, contained mere “meaningless” texts that saw all government agencies and departments completely exonerated of any culpability in the scandal, which has now resulted in nearly 30 per cent of Sabah’s 3.12 million population made up of foreigners.
“The masterminds and the real culprits responsible for the nefarious importation into Sabah of illegal immigrants from Southern Philippines and Indonesia are completely off the hook,” he said.
“Even more glaring is the utter failure to mention the role of the National Security Council as well as the Prime Minister’s Department, let alone attribute any blame on them, notwithstanding the overwhelming evidence to that effect,” he added.
After a nine-month hearing, testimonies from 211 witnesses and more than a year’s worth of delays, the much-anticipated RCI report was finally released to the public on Wednesday. But its findings, according to local and Federal opposition politicians, fell short of expectations.
The Royal panel, despite acknowledging that “Projek IC” had in all “probability” existed, said the initiative was not politically driven as initially claimed, but likely the fault of corrupt syndicates that handed out identification cards to illegals to make a buck or two.
Due to limitations in its terms of reference, the panel also made no mention of the culprits involved or recommendation of punitive action.
The panel ended its lengthy 366-page report with a postscript that said it only has the power to “inquire” and “make findings”, while any further action is up to the government.
Anwar’s longtime arch nemesis Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has beenDr.Mahathir repeatedly accused of spearheading “Projek IC”, a citizenship-for-votes initiative in the 1980s that has been blamed for the illegal award of identification cards to foreigners.
But during his testimony to the RCI last year, the former Prime Minister blamed this on “government officers” and said that he had never heard of such an initiative “until recently”.
During the RCI’s proceedings, which started in January last year, testimonies from Filipinos and other immigrants revealed how they received their blue identification cards or the MyKad — which is proof of citizenship — in just a few years after arriving in Sabah and how they had also voted in elections.
Najib Razak at 2014 UMNO GA“While it is well-known that the UMNO-BN government will never own up to its failings, we would have expected at least a modicum of contrition followed by a resolve to make good the errors and misdeeds of the past,” Anwar said.
“Sadly, there is nothing to show for that and Malaysians are once again treated to another farcical display of chest thumping and proclamations of grandeur reminiscent of the recently concluded UMNO General Assembly,” he added.
Human rights groups have been urging the US leader to meet with opposition leader, Anwar Ibrahim, during his two-day trip.
Ibrahim was recently convicted on sodomy charges that the US and human rights groups say are politically motivated.
Obama said that not meeting Ibrahim personally does not indicate a lack of concern.
Instead of meeting the dissident, the US president is sending his national security advisor Susan Rice to meet Ibrahim on Monday.readmorehttp://themalaybusinesstribune.blogspot.com/2014/04/obama-winner-of-us-malaysia-is.html
